  1. Restrict product location selection

Right now it’s possible for users to ignore product location when pricing. It would be great if this could be restricted so users have to pick a valid location when one is required.

  2. Support Negative Values in Sales Discount

Sometimes we need to apply a negative discount (for example, to increase a price by a percentage). I know its a salesforce limitation to restrict negative discounting, but would be helpful if Flexpricer allowed this behaviour. This would make it easier to handle price uplifts while keeping the price behaviour consistent.

  3. Allow nested product configuration

Some options within the product configurator require additional configuration of their own. It would be great if any option could act as a configurator showing that more setup is required.. Being able to nest configurations would make it easier to model complex configurations.

  4. Bulk update line item values

If we set a value in an optional field display field or a discount, can this value be cascaded to all line items please?

  5. Set Target Total as a percentage

As well as being able to set a Target Total by a currency value, we'd like to specify a target percentage change. E.g. decrease all line items by 10%

  6. Guide sales reps more on quantities - max quantity, min quantity & quantity multiples

Prevent a sales rep selling below a certain quantity or above a certain quantity for a given product. And allow some products to be only sold in multiples (e.g. multiple of 5)

  7. Display product images in more places

If a product image is used, display a small, thumbnail image next to the product name, whereever the product appears.

  8. Allow volume pricing to vary by group member

Currently, a product has to use the same volume pricing everywhere it’s used, whether it’s on its own or inside a configurator. It would be really useful if a product could have different volume pricing depending on which product group it belongs to. For example, the same option could be discounted when sold as part of a premium bundle, but priced differently when included in a basic bundle. This would make it much easier to reuse options across different bundles.

  9. Display sales rep Quota in UI

For example, when viewing a deal valued at $1,000, the interface could display a message such as: “This opportunity/quote represents 10% of your quota for this month.” The goal is to enhance visibility for sales reps by surfacing quota-related insights directly in Flexpricer.

  10. Customisable Optional Field Display - like page layouts

The field sets for Flexpricer Optional Field Display on QLI/OLI allow additional fields to be exposed on line items. It would be great if different products could have different fields exposed (like a different page layout for record types).

  11. Provide a simple calculator for ad-hoc calculations

Sometimes, not every single possible permutation of pricing calculation can be prepared in advance. Sometimes users might want to perform a calculation. Provide a simple calculator in the UI to make it easier to do calculations whilst in the interface (and not needing to load a separate calculator app).

  12. Apply a discount based on a currency value not only a percentage

Discount a line item by an amount rather than changing the sales price. Sales Cloud only permits a discount percentage between 0 and 100%. If a user wants to discount by an amount (rather than changing the sales price), then it would be useful to have a mechanism for the user can toggle between applying a discount percentage (between 0% and 100%) and applying a discount amount (between 0 and "Sales Price") that automatically converts to a discount percentage.

  13. Include a simulated Product Configurator

When setting up the Product Configurator, it would be useful to see the configuration visually without needing to load the product selector UI. A simulator could display the configurator interface for a given 'master product' without needing line items.
